Hey, I didn't realise I hadn't replied to you right away!
Oh god I love Dr Who!!! And have become obsessed with John Barrowman/David Tennant for some reason. This might have summat to do with it =p
Amazingly, It appears UKTV are playing Dr Who episodes daily, followed by a 'classifieds' thing for each ep right after with a bit of 'the making of' stuff with interviews which is AWESOME.
I found a place to watch them from on the internet as well, and have started on that, but the TV is playing from the season finale of season 4 with David Tennant - so I'm sort of watching two timelines at once, but it works out OK cause the program is so awesome. Honestly I'm flailing with love at it at the moment!
Thankyou so so so much for telling me a starting point for it, cause otherwise I probably would have started back in 1963 with William Hartnell O_O
I understand this whole comment is very haphazard, apologies as I had a few rum and cokes tonight =p
I'd seen 3 Torchwood episodes, and have pretty much loved John Barrowman since I first saw him, likewise with David Tennant, although the reason for love-at-first-sight with the latter is rather strange, as I remember first seeing him when I saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at the pictures, and was captivated by the whole tongue flick of Barty Crouch Jr =p
Clearly I am one disturbed individual, but as the intarwebz have taught me over the past year - a lot of people feel the same way XD
Also, I'm halfway through watching the BBC version of Casanova with David Tennant and Peter O'Toole, and it's awesome! I'm a little afraid at the way I like Tennant at the moment - it's the same way my 'mild likings' of Pete Townshend and Brian May started; realising they're not technically god-like beauties. That's the kiss of death.
But OH GOSH DR WHO. Man, The first episode I saw was the one called 'Forest of the Dead' and I was IN TEARS at the end of it, by god it's moving television. IDK if you've seen the episode, so I won't give spoilers.
Then I saw straight after that (I didn't know that it was the season finale of season 2), but I saw an episode of Torchwood, and was in tears at the end of that.
Then tonight I saw the season finale of season 3 for Dr Who, 'the last of the time lords', and cried like a baby then.
Not that any of the previously said stuff could possibly be of any interest to you, just that I wanted to thank you SO MUCH for turning me onto Dr Who. And apologise for the late reply =p
